EUROPEAN YOGA FESTIVAL CD LAUNCHED AT FESTIVAL 2008

The first European Yoga Festival album Light of the Soul was launched at the 2008 European Yoga Festival in July.

The double album was recorded live at the Yoga Festival last year and features the highlights from sadhana mantras, the all-camp workshops, and the evening program. Ambient mic'ing allowed us to capture the voices of the sangat as well as the musicians on stage, and the impact of 1,000 voices all chanting together is incredibly uplifting!

The album can accompany home practice, yoga class or simply reconnect the listener to the powerful vibrations of the yoga festival. Yogi Bhajan once said that if we practised sadhana alone, we should close our eyes and imagine ourselves surrounded by "a million others [...] Hear them all chanting, with you in the middle."

25% of all income from the album is donated to 3HO to continue their work to strengthen sangat around the world.
